I'd love it , but the Jet Gm that would make this deal would be fired 5 mins after...

I don't know about that. Fabini and Mawae are probably going to be released anyways. And Ellis/Glover for Abraham is a pretty good deal...

LOL, anytime someone thinks about a possible trade, Madden 06 is mentioned.

The Jets have two offensive linemen they probably will cut, and a defensive end they haven't been able to reach a long term contract with. We have two very good defensive players that no longer fit our scheme, but fit with the Jets perfectly fine.

Jets will be in a long, long rebuilding process. I cant see them making any type of big trades.

I think Mawae may be released. At age 35 he has a salary of almost 3m and a cap # of like 5 and he was out for the year with an injury this year. If he did get released I'd love to have him. Abraham is a FA after this year and I think he too will be released for cap reasons.

I'm not a huge Abraham fan. Yeah, he's a talent but he's no team player. He opted to sit while healthy when the Jets were in the playoffs because he was worried about getting reinjured. He's been used as a DE and would need to learn to play OLB which is a big move and you have to want to do it. Would he want to? I'm guessing no. He also will take a big piece of cap space.

If we move Ellis and Glover it will be for picks, probably 3rd's for each.

Madden should be mentioned when trades proposed are this crazy, Dallas would be lucky to get one of those players in a trade for Glover and Ellis. The whole NFL knows they dont seem to fit what BP is trying to do in Dallas, their value is dropping practically on a daily basis.

Do the Jets go 3-4 or 4-3 after Edwards?

If they go 3-4, why would they want 4-3 D players, if they go 4-3 it may be of interest to them.

We'll swap you Mike Zimmer for Greg Williams and Patrick Crayton for Santana Moss. Also how about Henson and Romo for Jason Campbell.
