Michael Clayton?
Matt Jones?
Joe Horn?
Any Other Ideas

Kelly Colbert?

My choice is

Mike Williams
6-5 230
Information:: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8425

+ = MW can catch
+ = MW can block
+ = MW is build

- = MW lacks separation ability (+) Which can be corrected.

OVERALL = He could be used in 3 WRs formation, on the inside catching the ball in the middle on short routes, and he could be used to chip a player when in motion.

MY THOUGHTS :: With the right coaching, Mike Williams will be a dominant Wide Receiver, and I believe the Cowboys have the team to work with him.

I say we stick with what we have. While Stanback, Austin and Hurd are healing we can just run out of two TE sets and motion Bennett or Witten into the slot. It's not like our 3rd WR did anything last year anyways.

None of those guys will be able to contribute enough on such short notice.

Unless Dallas can get a guy whose mere presence commands attention (Boldin/Williams), bringing someone in right now won't do a bit of good.

If Terry Glenn could get onto the field, I'd call him up. Unfortunately he is just done at this point.

Think we just need to suck it up and go with what we have for now. Hopefully by mid September both Hurd and Austin will be back

There really is no one there that will probably give us much more then our three low ball guys we have(Lowber, Amendola, Jefferson)
Terry Glenn clearly is considered done by us.
So unless its a big trade for Boldin or Williams there really is no point.

Are you serious? Mike Williams freaking blows, the guy is a bust.

You want to know how much MW sucks? The Titans cut his arse, the freaking Titans!!!

The Titans have arguably the worst receiving core in the entire league and they cut MW, think about that. He couldnt even beat out that practice squad level crap the Titans have at WR, and you think he is going to be dominant in Dallas?

No offense, but you have got to be kidding me.

Mike Williams, OMG , hes horrible!!!!! Hes too slow, and doesn't want it bad enough. He has been on 3 teams already. You must be a USC homer, or you must think its Apirl 1st.

Mike Williams was cut by the Titans about 2 weeks ago. He doesn't belong to any team.

Yet another name player you think will make us great. He's been a bust and trust me, no one was higher on this kid than me.

Agreed, Mike Williams blows.

The player I'm keeping my eye on is Brandon London of the Giants (if cut). Not to contribute now, but he has the ideal size and athleticism to be a pretty good player down the road. He's also from a family w/ a football background.

Mike Williams is not 230. He is more like 260. Fat, slow, unmotivated.

Forget it!!!!

Mike Williams was and never will be dominant in the NFL. He will probably never even catch another pass.....

He's on his way to being an offensive lineman. Maybe he could actually win a few races against guys from his own position.

Makes a person wonder why Glenn refused to sign the contract for 750k guaranteed. He's either greedy, upset with a perceived Cowboys disloyalty after what he gave to them, or the knee is just shot. My guess is he's not real happy with Jerry so i don't see TG coming back. JMHO.

Jerry said that the Cowboys weren't interested in signing or trading for anyone that hasn't worked with Romo.

I guess you didn't get that memo.
