Marshall made a great play, nothing else to say.

Team loss, everyone is to blame.

Or the last pass to Hurd.......Champ clearly had his right arm wrapped around Hurd's waist. No call.

Newman was in perfect position and Marshall still caught it.
i agree, newman almost had the ball. But after the catch it was awful tackling.

Exactly. The lack of tackling afterwards was the problem. Newman did all he could in coverage. Sometimes the other guys makes a play.

except irony is if we tackle him, we lose 13-10 as they run the clock down and kick a last second FG and never have a chance to get down with a chance to tie it.

Sometimes being in position is simply not enough. At some point, plays must be made. And that's not just speaking of one play in particular. It's an all-too-common theme here.

Dropped picks, running backs making catches though the waiting arms of defenders, missed tackles behind the line of scrimmage.

It's not a bad defense, but it's not one of the league's top units either.

I'm not quite sure what the identity of this team is.

Marshall should have been flagged, without a doubt, but Newman still has to step up and make that play.

home teams (except us for some reason) usually get the calls. Now the idiots that say TNew is terrible or has lost a step are just that-idiots. He is not playing as well as he can that is clear- but then who on this team is?

Just one of many many flawd's this team has...

I don't mean to bring him back into this or sound like a broken record... but.... ummm if you sit here and tell me we are NOT missing T.O I would ask you to ****... honestly...

I had hopes for Roy but the guy is'nt even top 5 reciever in the NFC EAST alone....

Garrett blows, Wade is eeehh, I think what needs to happen after we fall short once again is to clear wade and his crew exept coach joe d and I guess kinda rebuild... And when the hell are we going to see Ogletree??? throw him in there, honestly what do we have to lose??? tuhh this team is sloppy the only thing holding us together is our D and our running backs period...

Oh yea 1 more thing DEMARCUS WARE BLOWS as well. Jay Ratliff is our hands down best defensive player then James...
Romo was off, he overthrew a bunch of passes. Denver's defense is playing well. Oh well.

Get a freakin grip. Denver is a notoriously hard place to play and Hurd needs to make that catch that's right in his hands.

You think Owens would have even attempted to go for that pass when Roy got laid out? if you think so, you're kidding yourself.

If you really want to moan about something, start with Hamlin, who doesn't like to get his jersey dirty anymore.

Then be happy that the Giants have to go play there to.

Marshall did grab Newman's jersey/his shoulder (go look at it; I saw it on the replay), and he used it as leverage to get ahead of him. Newman caught up and just missed the pick. I do agree with Newman. If he doesn't get held and pulled back, that ball is going to be picked off. I've seen Newman out jump WRs bigger or as big than him his entire career.

Newman was on him most of the time, and he shut him down until that one play. The fact that Newman had to play catch-up was the difference on that play, imo. I don't think he was able to get his best jump, because he was playing catch-up.

Where was the help on that play? At that point in the game, I would have put the safety over the top to prevent that type of play.

Newman hasn't lost a step. That should have been a penalty on Marshall who did next to nothing the entire game. He got away with it.

The Cowboys' offense lost that game. They gave the ball away and gave them the ball on the 10 yard line when the Broncos couldn't do anything. Poor game management by Jason Garrett on 3rd and 14. Run something safe and punt the ball and live to fight again. Calls like this will lead to coaching changes next year. There was no need to go empty and throw the ball in that situation. Punt the ball due to poor field position and try to make the other team make the mistakes.

The defense forced a fumble on Denver's first carry in the second half, and Romo was picked off after the WR didn't do what he was supposed to do, from what I could tell.

Then, you get the ball down there on the goalline, and you can't tie the game.

Romo was off all day. If he hits Roy Williams, instead of getting him killed, Bailey is burnt bad. However, he missed him. He missed Crayton on a big one.

The holding call on Bennett, on Choices long run, was terrible.

My God, that was a terrible call on Bennett. I saw no hold to speak of and it wiped out a big gain. We still should've won, though. And like I said in another thread, I am tired of saying that.

I agree. I didn't see a hold...and then the fact they called that, but didn't call the virtual take down of Ware on another play.

Yeah, they got the sack, but how do you wipe out a guy, but don't throw a flag?

Lots of head shaking at some of those calls today.
