Anyone doing anything special? My brother and sister in law are coming over, so I am doing a brisket and a slab of ribs on my smoker. They're bringing the sides.

Then... A colonic the next day

Happy 4th, everybody!

Husband made brisket, ribs, sausage and boudin on the pit, and I made my "famous" potato salad and pinto beans (I call them Big Pintos). Plus you gotta have cole slaw. lol. Them slaw burgers sure do taste good with brisket. I'm used to them with pulled pork, but a good brisket slaw burger is mighty fine, too.

@REDVOLUTION , sounds like you were a one man COOK OFF competition! Good eatin', man! You deserve a medal! Hope everyone enjoyed eating it, as much as I enjoyed reading about it.
