Whatcha good at cooking

Butter is a vegetable because cows eat grass and bacon grease is a food group. BS on not eating healthy and I'll tell that to anyone, including your widow.

Breakfast is magic and anyone that can master that as you have deserves credit. Hell, anyone can do dinner, they've been up for 8-9 hours, just let them try to cook after only being up for an hour and pondering themselves for 15 minutes in their reflection in the microwave window.
That's the right thinking. I'm always looking for new rationalizations to lie to myself with. That works for butter....thanks for the tip CC.

I make the best Italian fish sauce in the world! :hammer:
Sooooo, you're not going to tell us how you do that? World is a big place, my friend, and in order to give you the trophy, we must see a recipe.

Recipe changes somewhat with the kinds of fish being used. I usually use gulf shrimp, scallops, squid. I like to throw in cleaned Maine lobster claw meat lightly steamed when the sauce is done. I always use Centi San Marzano. I always saute a onion or two before the sauce gets going. Shrimps and lobster claw meat needs to be cleaned perfectly, no shells in the sauce. Few things i won't share but with that base you won't go wrong.

Put some in the fridge for the next day, it taste great when it's cold.

A good cheats dinner is sluts spaghetti. Apparently named as it was popular with prostitutes in Italy who needed a quick tasty meal when they hadn't been to market so had to use what they had in the cupboards.

Fry some chopped anchovies in oil then add some chilli flakes and some chopped garlic. Once it's coloured pour in a tin of chopped tomatoes, a few teaspoons of capers and a handful of roughly chopped olives and leave to simmer for at least 15 minutes. Season and add spaghetti or linguine along with a splash of the pasta water. Plate up and throw some chopped basil or parsley over the top for garnish.
Takes about 20 minutes but tastes like you've been hours at the cooker.

I make a nice 5 alarm chili with habanero and a bit of ghost pepper. I also grill a mean steak that leaks just the right amount of blood on the plate.
