Never had a chance but I do hate it for Randle and his development.
They are real bad and developing Randle would have happened.

The good news is that James Worthy had the exact same injury in his Rookie year and he was able to come back from it better then ever. It doesn't have to be a permanent thing for Randle and this way, maybe the Lakers land a nice Center in the draft.

Look, it's all I got after one game of the NBA season. LOL........

I hear ya. The Lakers have to rebuild and it is going to take time.
Paying Kobe huge money to retire a Laker was a really big mistake.

The Lakers have had tremendous success and built a worldwide following of front runners so while they are down they will be kicked by fans of every other team.

I see Kobe's point about the cap penalizing players to the point they need to sacrifice while the owners reap rewards but the situation you have is what you have and that deal plus the puzzling Nash move sealed LAL's fate for a few seasons.

I really like Randle. He is a local kid. Literally went to high school 5 minutes from my house.
He should be fine. He needed a lot of refinement to his game but has strength and power galore.
I think he'll grow into a Karl Malone type force offensively.
The question will be his defense.

The Lakers main thing will be to build a legit front office. One that can acquire talent and hire the right coach.
The Lakers are primo destination but they gotta have something there to work with before it matters.
