• This defense is overrated. Without Micah Parsons, it’s probably below average. With him it has a great pass rush, but that is neutered when teams can run the ball effectively to get a 3rd and 2 instead of a 3rd and 7. By getting in short yardage 3rd downs, opponents can better handle our pass rush.
• Our secondary has Diggs and then a mostly average secondary.
• Our defense saved our season early this year but teams have figured out how to attack and de-fang Parsons by attacking him in the run game.
• It’s now Dan Quinn’s move- adjustments need to be made. This defense CAN be really good. It hasn’t been in several weeks.

You have to dig for deep stats...and yet provide zero context.

I am taking VERY simple first order stats. YPC...and number of carries. Very basic gritty stats. I am showing you those "Zeke's 3-4 ypc ain't ship, he's washed up" BS is...BS.

Henry has virtually the same stat....and get this...WITH MORE CARRIES! HIS team...commits to the run and the power run game.

You don't like that very much do ya? I don;t blame you.

Here of a few of my takes:

I don't believe JJ is that great of an owner. You could argue that most of his 'shrewd' business moves were meant to enrich himself and family, rather than the Cowboy's team.

By the time Parcells arrived at Dallas, he was already way past his prime.... he was in it strictly for money.

Kellen Moore is not a wunderkind.. smart, yes, but certainly not up to the hype he's received.

We shouldn't re-sign Diggs or Lamb, re-work Zeke's contract.

In the upcoming draft, focus on the OL and DL... no more flashy, workout warriors.
