Jerry probably requested him to keep it under wraps. I am pretty sure, Irvin did a big sell job to TO too. I love Irvin as player, but his TO love really doesn't sit with me that well.

Dan Patrick said on ESPN radio earlier today that Michael Irvin is currently in contract negotiations with ESPN. This may play a part in him not being vocal about the T.O. rumors. He probably won't do interviews with ESPN or any other news and sports stations until his contract is signed because he doesn't want to give it up for free or cause trouble until his contract is finished.

He is thinking he either wants a referral fee, or part of Rosenhaus' commission for the contract he is personally brokering between Jerry and TO.

I remember when Irvin said he spoke to Parcells a few years back when BP first got to Dallas and Irvin said that after talking with him.... that he wanted to play for Parcells.... broken neck and all....

so he got BP the next best thing....
