I was cleaning fish, shucking oysters and skinning bucks, hogs, rabbits, armadillos, squirrels, etc... when you were a smile on daddy's face.

You must be very old. I'm 72. I'll pass on the armadillos. Got 3 mallards and 2 widgeons this morning.

Now with that said, gonna keep it simple today saute up some chicken and peppers tacos. Gonna use some chicken with poblano, green bell, jalapeno, serrano peppers and onions topped with some avocado. I also got some charro beans and Spanish rice from earlier this week. Simple but tasty.

Left over BBQ from yesterday. Salud and Go Cowboys!

Sweet I forgot ducks! I'm 52...was just teasing... I miss duck hunting. My last lease was in Lissie Texas. Best place I ever hunted. Flooded harvested rice. Birds everywhere.

Nice! Friends used to talk about ribeye in the sky. I was clueless for a while didn't even really know what a sandhill crane was. One unlucky one flew over me once and became dinner...I'll never forget the splash he made hitting the water....now I know what they meant. Good eats. There were very few mallards out there. They hang more in the marsh areas. Lots of pintail, teal, wigeons, etc..all fun. Great sport.
