1) You start with a whole Prime Rib thats your first cut, PRIME RIB
2) If you cut the the whole prime rib into steaks and leave the fat tail on it it's called a Delmonico.
3) If you take the whole prime rib and cut the fat tail off that just leave's you the eye and then cut into steaks thats called a Rib Eye.
