Alright Everyone,

First game manana (tomorrow)...

I think I'm going with some boneless beef ribs, chicken leq quarters, sausage, pico del gallo, guacamole, rice and beans..

I'll try to post some pics tomorrow..

Let's hear from U.....What R U Cooking???

Post some pics of you can, just makes it that much more fun...:D

Stuck out of town in a motel ---so its what ever food is around --probably pizza

Just the usual supreme fajitas. Grilled meats with cheeses, tomatoes, tomatillos, avocados, onions, garlics, herbs (6 fresh, 12 dried), beans, rice, peppers, sour cream, lettuces, olives, etc as toppings.

Also, since it's a night game, I have time to make:
Tortillas from scratch
Chips from scratch
Salsas from scratch (plural)
and
Sopapillas from scratch

This sounds really good! I was trying to figure out before I ran to the store in a bit, but I think you have me convinced.

I'm so tired of pizza & wings for football night.

Mexican it is!

...and Red Stripe beer! :D

I usually keep it simple with finger food for games.

Most likely for tomorrow night will be ground beef nachos with sauteed red, yellow and orange peppers, sweet onion and garlic along with some salsa.

I forgot to add the Nachos to the list.

On Sundays, you also have what is called a Sunday dinner.

Sunday dinners also consist of real food.

By the time the 'boys play tomorrow night, Sunday dinner is now considered leftovers.

me, I prefer like actual food. I can use a fork and watch a game at the same time

I am grilling some mushroom/swiss sirloin burgers. Will include all the fixins and be well nourished throughout opening day.

Gonna be cooking out all day with friends starting at noon. Got tons of beer and fruity drinks (for the ladies ;) )

Got all sorts of stuff for the grill:

Pork chops
steaks (various)
chicken
beer can chicken
beer brats
burgers
turkey burgers
Shrimp
shark
lobster tail

gonna throw some pineapple and mixed veggies on the grill.

the gf will take care of the chips/dips and other sides.

should be a great day full of football good food.

Lets see:

-bacon and spinach stuffed mushrooms
-ribs with my special dry rub
-potato skins
-shrimp cocktail
-cheese ball
-stuffed jalapenos

that should do it

this thread is a testament that Cowboys' fans will fight and argue over literally anything! :laugh2:
