..got the Pecan pie in the oven already. Now making Bourbon Caramel sauce to go on top. Then will fire up a Gateau St. Honore', .. filled with Grand Marnier Bavarian cream. Top off with spun sugar as showpiece effect. ....

Ex-wife was going come over to make a dinner for our son and his wife and their son. Roasted chicken, fried chicken legs as that is what my son wanted. Mashed potatoes, gravy, corns, green beans, rolls, and who know what else.

However, since I have a temp of almost 101, they will not come over, as she has a fear of being around, as she has a very low immune system right now from some condition she has.
Actually this works out, as she nor I wanted to do a T-day dinner. She was doing it for them. I am fine throwing something in the microwave and watching football. Which I go in the other room and watch it anyway even if they were here. LOL. But they know this, it is tradition.

So she will make it a little at a time, they will stop by and pick it up, then I will eat some of it whenever I feel like eating.

So being sick and having very bad Tendonitis in my elbow right now, I am pretty much being a bum today, as Dead Bird Day should be.

Apple pie with vanilla ice cream
A literally old Italian family recipe for stuffing with Italian sausage, chestnuts and other stuff
Salad
Squash soup
Gin, single malt, red wine, white wine, mimosas
Collard greens
Pretzel salad
True hand harvested wild rice, not the store bought crap
Cranberry sauce

It think that’s it for 4 people.

Gonna wait a few hours and go for a run to try to counter some of these calories. Turkey, stuffing, mashed taters, green beans, glass of red wine. Pretty normal TG food. Skipped the deserts (for now). Happy Thanksgiving.
