What's our LBer lineup this week?

I've heard a number of things, but some of it is contradictory...

Ernie Simms has been stated to be starting over Carter, but then I've also heard Durant is out with a groin injury. So if Carter starting over Durant as Simms starts over Carter, or is Carter starting at SOLB and Carter keeps his usual spot?

I suspect you are going to see a lot of nickle/dime or 4-2-5 alignments this week.

Word is it's Sims at SAM in place of Durant in the base set, and than he'll stay in and Carter will go out when we're in the nickel, which will be much of the time this week.

Did lee play against SD? Because it seemed it mattered how the other LBs played

The reporting on this subject has not been very good. The reporters were too giddy to report that Carter was benched to really report the truth. I pieced together the following:

Durant missed practice this week with a groin injury and is doubtful for the game the last I checked.

Despite many reports, Sims replaced Carter in the nickel (2 LBs) but Carter is still practicing with the 1st team at WLB (3 LBs) with Sims at SLB. Garrett said that Carter would play a significant amount.

Summary:
WLB: Carter
MLB: Lee
SLB: Sims (Durant injured)

Nickel LB1: Lee
Nickel LB2: Sims

Having said the above, they might not have 3 LBs in the game very often against Denver. They'll likely be in the Nickel (2 LBs) and Dime (1 LB) packages most of the game.

If Lee could play CB as well we'd win every game. Despite Carter sucking.
