That doesnt seem possible, we lost to cleveland at cleveland in 68.

we beat philly, st.louis, minnesota, new orleans, washington, NYG and chicago on the road in 68. Thats 7 straight.

We then lost on the road to cleveland. The media guide is right.

12/21 1968 Cleveland 31 Dallas 20 At Cleveland.

now we won the next 3 in 69 on the road before losing again to cleveland at their place.

So in a single season the record is 7.

The difference in those two losses to Cleveland is that the one on 12/21 was actually a playoff game--back when there used to be playoff games in December. One of those where Milt Plum ripped us apart, IIRC. Maybe you knew that and were counting playoff games, but like I said, our current streak is 8 straight road wins so far, so I'm not counting the playoff loss in Seattle.

So in a single season the record is 7.

It's hard to compare single season records, because the 1968 season consisted of just 14 games. So in 1968 the Cowboys were perfect on the road, and as far as I'm concerned, the best this year's team can do is tie that record.

Anyway, I'll take just winning those last 3 playoff games.
