Stop and ask yourself why you would even post that.

Lmao! I can understand expecting to lose (actually, not really when you have a good team), but predicting we lose, or emphatically stating for a fact that we are gonna lose is what I don't understand.

What happens if we win, do you come out with some sort of retort about you being a fool:rolleyes:

They have that ability. They could score 40 on us and I wouldnt be suprised.

That is why this game will tell us all we need to know. If we win, then there is reason for optimism the rest of the way. If we lose a close one and play well then there is still a shot but it may indicate we are just a notch below some nfc teams.

and if we get blown out that will tell us its over and most likely we have no shot at the playoffs.

I'll eat some of that tasty crow, but we all know that's not going to happen. This team is incapable of making anyone do that.

Why is it wrong to post it?

Atlanta is a solid team. They don't make the type of mistakes that kill a team or result in losses and defeats. Its only loss is to the Patriots in New England against Tom Brady, one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and Belichick, one of the best coaches in the league.

The Cowboys are an up and down team that makes too many mistakes.

The Falcons know how to run the ball. Garrett is still trying to figure out how to run the ball, even though he has a deep backfield - injuries pushing that point about now.

Matt Ryan is cool as ice, while Romo often looks like he's panicked.

I hope I'm wrong. But I say the game isn't even close. Atlanta 31, Dallas 17.

At this point, it's all speculation whether one states emphatically or one hinges.

No one in here has any power to make what they say come true. If that were the case, the Cowboys wouldn't lose a game and would always win the Super Bowl. :)

I'm with Monster Heel. I don't mind eating crow. But I don't think you can just turn it around in a matter of one/two weeks. Turning around a franchise takes longer. But we shall see.

You know what your problem is?

You talk too much in absolutes. That's not the way the NFL works. Heck, that's not the way the world works.

Maybe you'll get it one day, kid.

Because Atlanta's not a bad team or even average team. Unless something's different post bye, pretty much a lock that Dallas is going to lose.

Dallas isn't an average team either.

Dallas is a heavily penalised team that shoots themselves in the foot.

Its not an X's and O's or talent issue. Its a mental mistakes issue with this squad.

Yeah, all I'm saying is show me. This is the type of team I expect Dallas to lose to until further notice. I don't see any reason for optimism at this point.

Cause it's what negative people with a quitter attitude do. Why bother asking him why he's quitting already.

It's a loser attitude. That's why people do that. They expect to lose cause that's their loser mentality.

I've never understood, at all, saying we'll lose. It's just such a piss poor approach to take.

And, no, if we win then he will make some sort of remark about how we didn't do it impressively enough and all that jazz but he won't say he was a fool for just coming out and saying we'll lose.

How much turning around will it take for us to beat a good team when we;re not that far from being good ourselves?

The Falcons are good, but not world-beaters by any stretch of the imagination.

Maybe your right but Nobody has just came out and outplayed us this year.

I don't have any confidence in the Cowboys ability to cut down on mental mistakes. 0.

But I know if they do than its on vs who ever we play.

Im going to cheer for the Cowboys no matter what on Sunday regardless of how disapointed I am at this early stage of the season.

I'm gonna cheer for them too. I think everybody on the forum will be cheering for them. It's not going to help them win though.

We've got a long and ardouous climb to the postseason, but if we make it there we're definitely a team built for the playoffs with the success of our running attack and our defense improving each week.

What separates Atlanta from us is one loss. You can also argue that their one loss to NE was worse that any of ours as we didn't look competitive in it. We can't have a more disastrous game that we had against NY, as far as turn overs are concerned, and we were in that game till the end.

I understand people being frustrated with the coaching staff and feeling hopeless about Wade but I just don't see anything that will make a Cowboy fan come out and say outright before the game is played that we'll lose to a certain team.

What is Dallas improving from defensively? From being one of the dirt worst units in the NFL to just being pretty bad?

And I don't know how you could think a team as turnover prone and penalty happy as the Cowboys will do anything in the playoffs. but of course it's extremely unlikely that they even get there.

How many games do you watch?

There are definetely things we need to get better at but our defense isn't one of the dirt worst.

They've been playing good ball the last 3 weeks.

Our Offense has been putting them in a position to fail more than anything else.

that win in philly in 07 might the most impressive under wade.

We manhandled them and absolutely kicked their behind. The fans left in the third quarter.

I heard mike rodriquez last night on the fan, all he talks about is the eagles and how great they are and how jerry is obsessed with beating them because there so good....whatever.

His topic for people to call in was Does the eagle loss give Dallas a chance to try and pull even with the eagles? I think they are a bettter football team too, but when you look close, they have layed down some clunkers over the past 3 years. So this notion that we cant play with them is pretty sad.

and that is from the official cowboys station. That station is so sorry.
I'm not positive because I don't listen to that station, well, ever, but I'm pretty sure that's the guy who the night we beat the Chiefs was saying that he'd like to see Flozell, Crayton, or Newman get cut to "send a message" and "shake up the team".

Unbelievable.

How many more teams do you need to see play aerial assault on them before you're convinced?

Or better yet how many more late game meltdowns do you need to see?

They're giving up 357.8 yards a game. When you consider how mediocre or outright bad the offenses the Cowboys have been playing this is just pitiful.

Through week 5 Dallas was the 25th ranked defense in DVOA, which is a good advanced statistic.

The only thing the Cowboys' defense look good in is points allowed, but guess what they let up the points at the worst possible time and the Cowboys are clearly struggling to score at this point.

Im just not that worried about our defense right now.

Yes, I do still grit my teeth on 3rd down, and yes, I do worry about them when they are in a hurry up.

It will be interesting to see how they do the rest of the year but I think if not for our offensive turnovers and giving our defense terrible field positioning than we would be praising them right now.

Mike Jenkins is a guy who is getting better every week too.
