Anyone hear if Rico is gonna be activated and get some more playing time?

Hes done enough on the few plays he ran last week to deserve more involvement.

Had Dak made the easy throw there's no doubt in my mind that Everybody would be making a case for Gathers to play more passing snaps this week.

He may be a differencemaker if we'll use his skillsets as a receiver more often . Just toss it up and watch him snatch it over the defender Everytime.

You need to spend some time reviewing his blocking if you want an answer...

I would assume he’s playing. Haven’t seen anything saying he’s inactive. Got to tell you though,I don’t like this WR’s and TE’s all by committee thing. That doesn’t work. You need clear cut #1’s and #2’s instead of this pot luck soup nonsense each week. How’s an offense supposed to find it’s groove,or players have full confidence in themselves and the system, when they keep getting shuffled around? I don’t care who it is,pick your guys and go with it soon, before players start mentally checking out as they will.

Learn on the job time for Rico, somebody needs to step up at TE. Same 3 guys active as last week is my guess.

I understand what your saying, but it is time to see what this cat has.....or don't have......if he cant block...don't use him as a blocker....time to see if RICO can make plays or no.....Witten was better at holding then blocking but ran great at routes and was a go to guy with the game on the line. Its time to see if RICO can make plays or not.... Dont care if he cant block... care more about catching passes...he can learn blocking as playing time increases.

IMO...time to play the cat and see if he can play or not.. BTW looking at next years draft: the Alabama TE is a beast

Enough of this "he can't block" crap. If he's going to get a roster spot, you get him some playing time - if he's simply a "project" you put him on the practice squad, if you lose him you lose him.

If he can't block to the point he can rarely if ever see the field, he has no reason to be on this team. We could have brought in a veteran TE.

Good posts.

I haven't seen very good blocking from swaim. I see them using him as a decoy more often. It's time to put our big boy pants on and make a bonafide receiving threat out of one of these tes. We need good receivers first and if they can block even better . Not the other way around.

Only in DC Nation do we hear this. Up in ne you don't hear a word about how Gronk can't block when he's drawing double and triple teams dragging three defenders down the field. Lol.

Usually the best tes in the league aren't the greatest blockers but they sure know how to catch and score. We need a te who can lead doing some receiving for a change. So we don't have this ugly passing attack

Whose philosophy do you trust? Jason Garrett's and his one fluke playoff game or Bill Belichick's offensive scheme in New England
