They look really bad right, but how bad could they be? Whats the worst record you could see them having this year.

I think they have the potential to go 5-11. Bradford looks really bad. The line looks really bad. The intirior line really seems to cripple a very good set of OTs Theyre skill players are very middle of the road but they will become useless if the line and Bradford dont turn it around.

Defensively the front 7 is the saving grace of the team, but you really arent talking about an elite unit. Outside of Jenkins the secondary has actually regressed.

When you create as much churn over the offseason as Chip did, and all those moves fail as spectacularly as they have in the early going, there's a real danger of losing the locker room and entering a death spiral. If they don't start having some kind of success in the next couple weeks, I think something like 3-13 is a real possibility with this team.

Floor? It's low. They look like a team that's about to lose faith in their coach, to me.

Chip might well fix it and the go on to be a surprise contender, but they look bad right now. Lose to the Jets, and it's going to get a lot worse. :)

I think he started losing the team late last year when they went on that dive

I think the Eagles did a similar thing to the Cowboys a couple of years ago when they picked up Livings and Bernadeau, if he doesn't make a move for a guard it could be a long year of people living in their back field. But with Romo down it's all to play for and eight wins might get you in. I wouldn't write them off yet.

it can get ugly fast. The defense is built to win now, and they are being asked to play 35-40 minutes a game because the head coach is an offensive genius. That has the potential to create a huge chasm in the locker room. i'm sure some of the guys jettisoned off have supporters left behind as well

They need to win soon. Here's hoping they don't!

Their poor play in the 1st 2 games has made the next few games extremely important. 0-4 or 1-3 is could be a death sentence for their season. They've already lost the faith of much of their fanbase. Once the players start giving up it'll get real fun for us.

They don't even sound like they're heading in the right direction. Lots of denial and blame going around. I love it.

Yea, I think it's really on the verge of getting very very ugly in Philly if they don't start winning games, like ASAP.

I tend to believe that gimmicky type head coaches, such as Chip, are more susceptible to losing the locker room than other, more traditional coaches.

I mean how much longer are his players, especially the guys on defense, going to keep giving 100% just to get their heads beat in and lose games. Some point soon these grown men are going to be like screw this coach. Chip's arrogant nature isn't going to help him in this area either.

I REALLY hope they lay eggs the next 2 games. Full on meltdown mode will ensue.

Those really weren't bad moves at the time if you look at that line and the salary cap. They were always intended to be stop gap solutions. Livings no, but what's his name is a serviceable back up on a very good OL.

I hope so, but since the Jets played Monday night and they play at Miami the following week, this is a trap game for them. I say that and knowing that Bowles was run out of Philly as the defensive coordinator, he may have something to say. Go Jets this week!!

Their o-line is playing three on five right now. Kelce is a great center but he looks like he's trying to cover up for the two turnstiles next to him. They may be the worse team in the NFC right now. Hard to believe when you see some of the talent on that team.

It depends on if and when the players quit on him.

Lots of problems for the Eagles in that they don't have a QB, they lost any semblance of a deep threat at WR, Sproles ain't getting any younger, Ryan Mathews blows and DeMarco may never be the same after last season. And Jason Peters isn't getting any younger, I really haven't seen anything to write home about in Lane Johnson and their guards are terrible.

They just gave a huge contract to Byron Maxwell who, thru 2 games, has a perfect passer rating on passes thrown at him. Alonso may be out for the year as well.

If things don't go well, they'll probably get rid of Kelly and keep Howie Roseman who I don't think is a very good GM in the first place.

Gotta say I have some crocodile tears over all of this.

Unless Eagles offense starts producing that defense will be worn out. They are playing way too many min and snaps and it will take a toll on them as the season progresses. Right now defense seem to have figured out the Philly scheme and unless Philly starts making some changes and gets better blocking I think they very well could fall to the bottom of the division.
