What's the game plan this weekend?

We've spent the better part of the last few weeks analyzing Weeden/Cassel, is Garrett and Linehan too conservative, did they lose the Giants game being too aggressive, did Cassel suddenly clam up this weekend against Seattle because the coaches pounded that into him?

So now what? Philly has given us problems with their front seven for a few years now so the game plan can't be, line up and rush for 240 yards on them. We will obviously have to make plays in the passing game?

So let it all hang out and try to attack them down the field? Or just sit back, dink and dunk and hope like hell you can win a game 14-13?

I have no idea. We haven't been able to run the ball in like three years against these guys. I doubt that chances this week. Only hope is Bradford throws a couple, but with this offense we need to take them all the way back. That's really the only way we win this game.

I think Cassel will have the opportunities in these next two games to get the ball down the field. Seattle was a defense that is designed to make you throw underneath or risk a pick if you throw it deep. They maintain very good spacing and what looks open is often not. Similar to the Atlanta game, but with better players in the secondary. The Eagles are much more vulnerable to WR's in their defensive scheme. They are very good against the slot receivers with Malcolm Jenkins. I would definitely expect to see more shot downfield and deeper seam routes in this game. The wildcard last game was Wilson scrambling, which eventually is really what won the game for them. In this game it's more of the "trick" plays off of up tempo. Tackling the short throw will again be huge for Dallas.

Media hasn't been allowed so we don't know but it will be

Spit/clap/spit or
Clap/spit/spit

Then we will throw in a
Clap/clap/spit

When we really want to go for it and completely confuse their defense

Either way it will be really innovative, I know

Our D will have to score 4 TD, and ST 1 TD. No expectations from our Offense.

Any good plays will also conclude with said player being shoved by the spitter clapper.

Pound the ball and wear them fat, tubs out.

Done.

Yeah, run it behind La'el Collins/T Smith all day and a few play/action passes to Dez. Hope Butler will be back.

I am going to go out on a limb like so many here do when they have a "feeling" about a particular player or game: same plan as the past several weeks with perhaps one trick play thrown in to appease the bloodthirsy mob (I.e. see Giants game).

simple. Win. Eagles suck and they're fully staffed. We'll win

Get drunk. Oh, the Cowboys' game-plan.

Here it is:
1st Down....run
2nd down...throw
3rd down...throw for 5 to witten, when we need 10 or more yards.
4th down...punt.

Based on last weeks game, the next game will be over aggressive and going for it on each 4 down no matter what.

The plan is to kick 10 field goals. 30 points should win a game in the NFL. Bailey, get ready, we're all counting on you.

I would not be surprised to see a lot of punting this game... the field goal game favors Dallas though. Dallas should be able to run about 10 more plays and have the ball for about 8 more minutes that the Eagles. If the Cowboys are going to take the run and wear them down approach, they will likely have more success converting third downs by passing the ball. Philly does not give up a lot of running first downs. This is very much a big play game. I would not be surprised to see an ugly looking game from both offenses, with 3 or 4 big plays determining the game. Connor Barwin vs Free, Collins vs Cox, does Jason Peters play hurt vs Hardy? Dez is a huge factor is this game. This is really his matchup game more than almost all other opponents. He is clearly better than anyone they can put on him when healthy.
