What's the vibe right now in Cowboys land? How are you feeling?

Typical Dallas free agency with nothing but bottom barrel pieces that is not going to put Dallas over the top. So the feeling is the same. Expect nothing to change.
 
I feel like I am being snookered by the Joneses. These player moves they made are the same kind of moves they would have made in June any other year. This year they are making them in March to claim they are being aggressive, selectively or otherwise.

I am concerned these moves are tipping off their draft strategy. We want them to grab two good DTs but I am feeling with the two free agents they signed, they might not even take 1.

I just wish, instead of committing $18 million to 4 backups, they would sign 1 guy who has a good chance to make an impact.

Nobody cares right now. The Cowboys barely come up in conversation in DFW these days.

I feel pretty dang good. Spring is near. Cattle are fat and ready for the freezer. Chickens and ducks are laying like crazy. What the Jones boys do or don't ain't gonna spoil the rest.
 
I would say about 75% of the positivity I was starting to feel from the assistant coaching hires has turned into the reality that this front office is useless. But there are still opportunities to turn that around...don't love the odds.

Doesn't matter what we do....As long as #4 is pulling the trigger...we are screwed. All this low balling on former first round busts....means nothing. It's all window dressing to fool people. Jerry is praying this works to get people off his back. But real people that watch tape know better. Nice try Jerry :laugh:
