What's the vibe right now in Cowboys land? How are you feeling?

THIS IS THE REASON I CHECKED OUT AT THE END OF LAST SEASON. JERRY AND STEPHEN SUCK, THE TEAM SUCKS, THE FREE AGENCY SIGNINGS SUCK. WHAT'T TO LIKE ABOUT THIS? WE LOSE DLAW AND JLEWIS AND SIGN THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE BARREL. NO IMPROVEMENTS AT ALL. HEADED FOR ANOTHER LESS THAN MEDIOCRE SEASON.

JUST A WASTE OF TIME. I DON'T FORESEE ME SPENDING SUNDAYS WATCHING THIS DUMPSTER FIRE OF A TEAM.
To be fair, there's no need coming back, Jerry's NEVER CHANGING, he's s******ing now thinking how smart he was to restructure those contracts, create the CAP space ..... and DEFLECT/HOLD THE CRITICISM by fooling the fanbase and media with false expectation, just long enough for the draft to take over and the extension of Micah....to free up even more unspent CAP.

So far 6-9. 3 starters from draft can change that to a 9 with health and maybe a 10 if they get a starting caliber 2 wr.

I don’t care. Jerry and the kid don’t know what they are doing, we already know how this season ends.

How are you feeling right now as a Cowboys fan, worried, confused, happy, excited, hopeful, neutral, not bothered, accepting??????

What is your temperature right now with this team? I want everyone to open up and discuss their feelings, NOBODY is wrong in how they feel, so please don't try and tell others how to feel!! Please give your thoughts
I am feeling good, don't care how anyone else if feeling

I'm pretty whelmed. I was hoping to be overwhelmed, but at least I'm not entirely underwhelmed.

Apathy here too.
It's hard for me to imagine them doing anything that shakes that feeling.
Rookies will stir a little interest.
Yep apathy, unless there's some hidden rhyme or reason to a future strategy, but cant see that because of the mess that was 2024. This year is just a wasteland, because Jerry was unable to take a definitive direction (ALL-IN or Tear it down).
He's living on a strategy of HOPE and with no concerted decision making process.......yep rookies and watching Jerry struggle with a media that HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO PUT HIS FAILURES TO HIM ON BEHALF OF THE FANS.

The over under will be 7.5. I will take the under
Doubtful. Jerry absolutely has to have a team that is semi-relevant. Get a tough yards RB in here, and suddenly we're doing much better at controlling the clock which helps the D tremendously.

BTW, I hope you're right. The fewer wins the better at this point.

We seem to be in a semi- conservative mindset that resembles Moneyball approach to an extent,
- draft the necessary key players (ala Dak, CeeDee, Parsons, Diggs, Tyler,, Bland)
- re-sign the big "core " stars
- acquire C-tier serviceable street FAs and JAGS with a great hope that they " surprise" into more
- seek out late round bargain vet trades if possible (ala Gilmore, Cooks, Griffen)
- keep FA spending to a minimal

We don't go for the throat " middle ground " big FA signing , ala Barkley or Henry of a proven stud (ala Philly or Ravens)
that could take us a big step over the big hurdle. We will always be set in stone with the way the Jones will strongly prefer it.

That's why we will always be under the likes of a Philly who have a no question much more clever, stronger, competent front office
as compared to the Jones management.
