What's the Vision for the Cowboys in 2025?

This is a soft team and that didn't change in the offseason. We will still struggle stopping teams that can run the ball. We will still struggle inside the red zone bc that's Dak. NY and Washington improved more and we aren't in the same ballpark as Philly in terms of talent on the field.

We closed the gap, at the very least.

I think Jerry envisions creating enough hope to win back some fans.
He's selling hype like cotton candy right now, and Dak is pitching in.
Because they both know that Dak's latest contract has driven off fans like never before.
Maybe a little. What really drove fans over the ledge was how the entire 2024 season was handled. No accountability for the Green Bay disaster (MM keeping his job). They followed that up with a massive disappearing act in free agency, the draft stunk, and the cherry on top happened when Dak was signed to his franchise crushing contract on opening day (had to maximize the media attention...).

And then what did Jerry do once the season ended? He denied permission for MM to interview with Chicago, then released him a week or so later. We all wanted MM fired and he was taking the steps to move on, but was it really necessary to prevent him from taking part in interviews knowing Jerry wasn't going to bring him back? It was a massive chicken poop move on Jerry's part.

It blows my mind how all that all of that happened and the usual lemmings are not only buying right back in, they're praising the offseason moves made. What was so special that no other front office on the NFL wasn't already doing? For once Jerry and his front office are doing their jobs (sort of) and the lemmings are reacting like a 5 year old on Christmas morning.

Not gonna lie. Last year wasn't even interesting. Zimmer got a lot out of the backups, which was interesting. But wasn't enough to be interesting overall.
