i got a black Roy Williams 31 jersey like the day before Jeremy shockey ended his career .
I was so excited when he got drafted and then his first couple of years, I loved watching him knock the hell out of people. Then I realized he couldn't cover anyone. And then he couldn't tackle anymore. Bad combination for a defensive back.

I got a Bobby Carpenter jersey the day after we drafted him.

Not really, I'm kidding. I do have an ugly Thanksgiving Roy Williams jersey though.

Are we sure it was Jeremy Shockey and not Kelly Rowland that ended his career? Could have swore she stole his heart and talent when she left him. Lord knows he wasn't the same since.

I have a Cowboys baseball cap and I have no idea why I even bought it. I don't wear hats anyway because they don't look good on me. But this hat is just atrocious. It's got the 2 Velcro strips in back that says Dallas. It's checkered blue and white and then "Cowboys" is slanted on the front in white with the blue star cutting through the middle of the word. It is straight out of a truck stop. I'm pretty sure I was drunk when I bought it and I've kept it just in case there's a contest for "The World's Ugliest Hat"

I also have a Terry Glenn and RW 11 jersey. And a Tyson Thompson poster to go along with my Jay Ratliff signed helmet

Fully authentic Cowboys helmet with only a single autograph on it...Tashard Choice. I rank this slightly higher than my Drew Henson "Rhein Fire" jersey.

Only have one piece of Cowboys memorabilia a mini helmet autographed by Doug Dennison who was Tony Dorsett's backup for a couple of seasons. He was the Grand Marshall of the Llano Texas Rodeo parade in 1978. Me and my dad drove 300 miles because we were told Dorsett was going to be the Grand Marshall.

I have a signed Marian Barber authentic jersey. He was probably my favorite cowboy at the time though. Loved watching him run in his short prime.

I'm not the memorabilia type that autographed Doug Dennison mini helmet is all I have. I was so upset when we found out it was Dennison and not Dorsett at that parade. My dad tried cheering me up by telling me Dennison scored a TD in the Hail Mary game but that didn't help. lol

A clock which lists their Super Bow victories.......horrible. Its just a "date" reminder of how long its been.

The best. An issue of "Dallas Cowboys Weekly", paperback which was always came 2 months late.Has Jim Jeffcoat as the number draft choice.....

Second place, an issue of SI, with the cover of the Dallas D, titled, Thomas Everett of the Cowboys. It had Norton themaking the tackle to, and Haley at the bottom, actually making the tackle and initial contact. But the point, I think so at least, was how swarming the Cowboys D was. It was against the Raiders... And that the Cowboys were no longer the 1989 Cowboys, and that they had "Arrived".................

I have a stack of old Weeklys somewhere in my garage. At one point in the past, it was the only news one could get in the offseason. My favorite issue is the one showing Jerry at a poker table with other team owners holding cards that had Jimmy Johnson (Coach Of the Year), Emmitt (Rookie Of the year), and others that I can't remember. The point of the cover was that the Cowboys had the pieces in place to become legit contenders again. It was very prophetic. I'll have to go find those old issues now...

I was on a ship in the Persian Gulf during Desert Storm so the Weekly was supposed to be my link to everything Cowboys (even though I knew I would get them two or three weeks late). Well, the entire season and more goes by and I never got one issue. When I returned to civilization and was able to contact them to find out why I hadn't gotten my all important weeklys, they told my they simply made an error and would happily refund my money. Talk about a downer...second to getting mail from my wife, that weekly was the most important thing I had to look forward to.
