What's this nonsense about the AFC being so much better than the NFC?

That sentiment has been repeated over and over throughout the year by lots of different people. But the truth is you've got the Cowboys and Packers in the NFC and the Patriots and maybe the Colts in the AFC. After that both conferences have a bunch of average to mediocre teams.

If the AFC is so much superior to the NFC, how in the world did Pittsburgh lose to the Jets and the Cowboys absolutely dominate that team only a week later?

Because the best team in the AFC beat the best team in the NFC. Quite simple really. Not saying I agree, but thats why.

The NFC is the JV league of the NFL..

Love the Cowboys wish they were in the AFC though to prove how good we really are...
