What's up with not playing Trey Lance?

That's why it was such a bad move extending Dak. The tank was in full effect, but then Jerry half-ssaed it. Jones wasn't all-in on the tank like he should've been. Now you can't make sense of Trey playing.

Yoda isn't completely daft.
Yoda did not want to chance Lance throwing 3 INTs, which would make him look even more of a fool. Nooo, Rush is Yoda's safety blanket who will only throw 1 INT not 3.

Two guys I would cut tonight and move on. Lance is one because he has nothing to offer if he cannot even earn the number 2 QB spot. The other is Zeke. It was a total mistake to try and bring him back.

I would find a couple of guys that have at least a glimmer of potential to work with.

We gave up a pick for him, isn't it time to give him a cup of coffee in a game that's out of reach? I really don't understand. Are we simply giving up on Trey and admitting the trade was a mistake?
First off he isn’t active. Despite him being the 8th highest cap hit on the team, the only way he sees the field is if Dak and Rush are hurt as by rule that is the only way he can.

And yes he was a mistake. He was a waste of a pick and a waste of a roster spot and a waste of 9m.

He sucks too. It's a choice between sucky starter and sucky backup and Jerry is going to get his money's worth.
