What's up with not playing Trey Lance?

None of us really understand why we traded for him. I stated that 1 second after the trade was confirmed. Trance is not a QB. He is an athlete.

We gave up resources for Lance. Why is he the emergency QB?

I'd say it's because he had an entire offseason to beat out Cooper Rush and couldn't, and is therefore the Emergency backup.

We would have a QB controversy .....that's why. TL outplay #4 in the pre-season.....I don't care what the 5 INT game was....half of them wasn't his fault. And it got him some game experience.

We are sitting@ 3-3......and If Prescott broke his hand.....I know I would be starting him the rest of the way. Personally....I think that's the way to go....regardless. I'd be cutting bait with #4. Your not gonna win anything with him.

You know Jed ain’t cutting Dak the $60M dollar man, then he would have to admit he made a mistake and you haven’t heard him say that after 28 years and he will not start now.

Fellows, Lance is not that guy sorry. You would have to get him in the draft and you know that isn’t going to happen.

What's worst is we gave up a 4th rounder and he will be let go after this season, most likely.

I never thought he was. However, the question still remains. Why do we refuse to play him? Makes zero sense.
 
Because he’s not a NFL caliber QB. He only survived the camp cut because Jerruh wasted a 4th round pick on him.
