Are we going to lose ireland, soparno, and garret? At least jerry will keep garrett wouldnt he.

And another thing how ****ty is parcells in that he comes after our guys and you know he will raid our team any chance he gets.

what is the deal, spend 4yrs. building our team then go to another team[miami]and build it with our top people.

JUST DONT GET IT, AND DONT WANT TO FALL JERRY TO LET US FALL INTO THOSE 5-11 seasons again!

Parcells has a track record of seeking out those he's familiar with - which explains Ireland and Fasano. I also think that EVERYBODY is intrigued by Garrett and that he's prolly the hottest commodity on any staff these days.

ireland was here before parcells.

I don't think we will lose all 3 and as for BP his job and committment is to the Dolphins and he will look at people he thinks can help him. As for the 3 guys you named the only one BP brought in to the Cowboys was Sparano

Parcells liked Ireland enough to have Jerry encourage Lacewell into retirement. The point is Bill likes to work with the guys he "knows". And Ireland is one of the fraternity of FOBs.

Lacewell retired on his own and Lacewell is the one who went to Jerry about Ireland being the man for the job not BP.

Well, it's not a McFadden thread, but I enjoyed this condescension mightily.

BS on that about Lacewell. Its well known that BP forced this. Jerrah has always been loyal to his friends- sometimes too loyal.

dude - you're not happy unless you're whizzing in someone's wheaties. yes, i have little patience for the dead horse zone threads, but you have little patience for anyone not you.

go kick someone else now and continue your beautiful ways.

Ireland was here well before BP and was brought into Dallas by Lacewell to start with. At 68 he retired but before he did had told Jerry that Ireland would be the best man for the job.

BP forced his retirement. BP forced him out- clear? BP wanted Ireland- and after BP made his choice then Lacewell supported Ireland.

No it has been a speculation nothing more than that and speculation does not mean jack. Fact is he retired nothing more than that and as I said it was Lacewell who brought in Ireland to begin with because Parcells was not even here when Ireland was hired.

So YOU are speculating as well and try and claim it as fact?

No Lacewell retired that is a fact, he was 68 years old and retired. It is also a fact that BP was not even around when Ireland was brought into Dallas and who did Ireland work under? You got it Lacewell that too is fact! I know the popular stance is to hate Lacewell and give him credit for nothing but look at certain facts and Ireland is not in Dallas if not for Lacewell.

well, i'd follow you around and point out every post of yours that's condecending, but frankly, i'm not that anal (contrary to the laughter you just did just now) and don't have that kind of time. but dude, you get so holier than thou i have to wonder how many white robes you own and if you truly whiz holy water.

but you whine at my posts that whine and never see your own "wah wah" in the process.

you beautiful poster you...
