I haven't read or heard or seen anything about this movie except how bad it is. I just read another article over on Yahoo about "The Ten Most Confusing Things" about the movie, and all the "holes" in it's plot.
I don't get the point that all these pundits and reviewers are trying to make. OF COURSE it's not gonna' make sense and have a lot of loose ends. Most BIG BANG-Extravaganza movies ALL have story lines that don't make sense. Any, if not EVERY big-budget sci-fi flick............you could come up with a list of 50 "that didn't make sense" things.
As if it's supposed to win an Oscar or a Pulitzer Prize or something!?!?
I saw the first one and enjoyed it, and I'm taking the kids to see this one once the first-week crowds settle down a bit. But I'm under no illusion that I'm going to see "The Godfather", "Gone With the Wind" or "Schindlers List" or anything. I've been to many movies where I expect nothing more than killer special effects, a lot of noise and bang-bang, and that's it.
Anyone here see this movie yet, and do you agree that ripping it apart on the grounds of "a believable story" is kinda' redundant?
