What's with all this worried about Tyron Smith nonsense?

I'm just done watching the game again for the 2nd time. Now let's start with what he did wrong.

1. False start on 1st play to set the tone for a bad game.

2. Got beat on an inside move by Brooks for a sack.

The rest of the game, what I saw was an all pro LT whom 2 all pros in Justin Smith and Brooks could get no movement on at all. No pressures allowed.

The 1st sack he gave up it was an obvious running play that Romo check out of. He would've drawn Smith up filed and we would have run the ball for a TD between the tackles.

The 2nd penalty that he had on the leg whip was a play in which we gave Romo great protection, ample of time, and his half *** leg whip attempt was long after the QB should have gotten rid of the ball and his man was never a threat to put pressure on Romo.

He had an imperfect game so we should cut him. This is the only logic on this message board. Bench Romo, fire Garrett and release one of the best LT's in the game.

I think the O-line was solid. The interior was stellar. Leary is so underrated. Free is the weak link but he's not awful. Smith is an All Pro. The O-line was fine. The sacks were on Romo and the INTs were on Romo. I usually try to give Romo credit but the loss was single handedly his fault. And it's unfortunate because a lot of guys played well and/or overachieved. The O-line was solid, Beasley was Beastley, Murray was a workhorse, Dunbar looked good, Mincey surprised, Melton looked solid, Carter impressed, McClain was a stud, Church wasn't bad, the entire D-line overachieved, Bailey was Bailey, and even the punter was solid. I feel sorry for those guys.

I think Smith played well... Free on the other hand gets pushed back so bad, but happens to stay in front of his guy. Its really hard to grade him as a tackle. Romo looked terrible and I am a huge Romo supporter. I think he needs to practice everyday of the week and if he can't he needs to be replaced by someone that can. As for Garrett - He didn't make any blunders and had the right game plan. I don't fault him for anything this week. Now if we come out against the titans and his players don't execute then I will blame him for not fixing issues from the first week.

I think many people don't understand football outside of the surface of the game and they love to rip players that get a big contract. I think this is true for any fan of any team.

With that said, part of what I think the Niners did was they just wanted to keep Romo in the pocket and didn't want him having any broken plays. I think they knew the Cowboys would never stick to the run (which they actually did, but at critical points did not) and just wanted to keep things in front of them and force Romo to beat them from the pocket. So that led to fairly conservative defense that could possibly make the O-Line look better than actually did. If so, brilliant gameplan by Vic Fangio.

Who said cut him? They are just saying he wasn't so great yesterday.

He better bring his A+'game against the Texans. I think he'll line up against JJ.

JJ got his money too & had a monster game to start the season.

Tyron is great. Just add him to the pile of guys yest who had a bad one.
