What's your definition of all in?

For me, all is was just PR talk that I never put and stock in. What they ate doing is trying to retain homegrown talent, have a good draft, develop young players and hopefully sign a quality FA. They waited on Lamn and Dak to spend late and avoid the FA temptation. All in, usually means this year and not for the future...pretty obvious they are looking forward and understand we couldn't put together a great team with all the holes and a lame duck staff.
Yeah, he said it .. I didn't care one way or another.

we all know what it was for. to keep the status quo, relevant enough to be talked about, mediocre enough to do nothing in the league.

Harmony for JJ, money comes in from all angles.

The fan base is thrilled to have a snake oil salesman.

That snake oil works wonders on boots. Gotta keep the boots looking good for the boot lickers. Lol

All in means you think your window to win the Superbowl is open right now. And You'll do anything to close the remaining holes in your lineup. Even if that means spending some draft picks. Any other definition is just nonsense. It definitely does not mean just re-signing a couple of players.

Jerry is a friggin fool. He can't just change the meaning of the english language and expect everything to sing along.

We aren't all in and probably haven't been since 30 years. You'll never win it all with the draft alone. No matter how good you are drafting.

Well. We now know what Jerry meant.
He meant giving Dak a boat full of money.

Whilst I wouldn't have signed him for $60 million a year the Cowboys were seemingly always resigning Dak.

In which case why not resign him early doors to free up more cap space?

- Sign Derrick Henry (he was waiting for the call).

- Trade a 3rd for Devante Adams. Lamb one side and Adams the other...

Let's go along with the premise that the injured key defenders come back for the last third of the regular season thus allowing the young guys to gain the experience in the interim.

Surely even Dak could reach the Superbowl with all that talent around him in a dysfunctional and indifferent NFC?

Would that be all in?
My all in differs from Jerry's definition.

Still hanging on Jerry's word from 6 months ago? I mean I do not know what is worse: taking a metaphor or Jerry Jones at face value.
