What's Your Favorite Dessert?

Any cheese cake from Cheese Cake Factory, carrot cake, a good bread pudding, or chocolate mousse.

Forgot about apple crisp/cobler with ice cream.

Pie: Lemon Icebox
Cake: Cheesecake
Cobbler: Peach
Ice Cream: Vanilla

I can't pick just one, although I don't eat desserts on a regular basis and really dislike desserts that are sickeningly sweet.

Top 5 in no particular order would be:

A simple chocolate layer cake
Chocolate pecan pie
Bread Pudding w/ whiskey sauce
A really tart cobbler or crumble. Preferably with cherries, blackberries or mixed berries.
An espresso or mocha cheesecake

Honorable Mention:
A true Mexican style cup of hot chocolate
Almost ANY flavor fresh homemade ice cream.

Very simple, yet heavenly. Entenmans Butter Pound Cake with 2 scoops of Bryers Vanilla Ice Cream.

2nd would be a good Chocolate Mousse.

Cheesecake, although theres a Turkish restaurant in Glasgow that does Turkish Delight creme brulee that is about the nicest thing I've eaten.
As a general rule I get a starter rather than dessert - usually am full after two courses and prefer savoury to sweet

Butter Pecan Ice Cream. My dad and I used to kill a whole gallon of it in a weekend. Every time I eat it I think of him.

My close second is Spumoni.

I am not a sweets type of guy at all.

I don't really like ice cream/cake/cup cakes/cookies/candy.

But for whatever reason, I can't turn down a slice of cheesecake. Its always amazing to me.

My stepmother is originally from London. She's been in the states since the early 70's. She and my Dad have been married since 74. As far back as I can remember, she's always eaten her salad after her entree, then a dessert.

She's always claimed, "It's a British thing" but I just think it's 'cus she's weird! ;)

This one cake from Wegmans bakery. Brownie baselayer topped with a layer of cookie cake then a layer of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting wrapped around it with cookies on top of the frosting.

So sweet its sickening. I love it.

I just gained four pounds from viewing this thread. It's gonna have an impact...... :gassy3:
