On the Heavy Metal note, that was a fantastic movie. Great soundtrack too. Didn't quite scare me as a kid but I always thought it was kind of creepy. Great cast too. John Candy as the robot. haha

I would absolutely adore to hear an AWESOME cover of this song...
I love Motorhead. Remy was in Austin constantly. One of my best friends was a well known bartender that moved around on 6th St.
He ran into him several times, especially at some place that's probably not there any more, near Lamar and he would call me to show up and I would never be home to get the call.
