That song has massive sexual undertones. I love posting it

it's about getting head. purely

Interpol, namely Turn On the Bright Lights, is exquisite

the rest of their stuff is meh

But that album, that ******* album is phenomenal
 
All of their material is sensational. Same with Grizzly Bear. Just two incredible bands. Never put out filth or derivative nasty music. Never in it for the hooks. Can form and deliver hooks with the best of any of these Mumford and Sons filth "indie/folk" bands, tho. And I love me some hooks. When it's appropriate.
 
Does anyone here recommend Spotify Plus? I dont have it. All of my music is from my iTunes. But i think i had it before, and it seems like i have every other ******* monthly subscription, yet not spotify plus

every time i consider Spotify plus, i consider Grizzly Bear and their pittance for reimbursement from spotify, from a Spin article i read of there's a few years ago. maybe it was more recent. still, anyone? my son has it. i'm like, pull up this song on my mac, and he's like "already have it up" on his phone with the aforementioned app

his mom, or someone other than myself, is paying for that. idk who. i should get that password like they all have for my accounts for cable. it hasn't dawned on me till right now.

it's been a great discussion.... lot's to ponder. thank you
 
my next concert is in a month and a half

Dave at Hollywood Bowl. Will be my second time seeing them at this venue

taking my son, it will be his first time, and I know he dislikes them, but after he sees them live, it'll all change

Dood, I use Google Play Music and I absolutely love it. I have a fairly vast music collection, so, I never thought any of these services would do anything for me. Well, I finally signed up to YouTube Premium and they are in bed with Google Play Music (you get both with a subscription). Ever since getting this service I just can't stop using it. Any album you can think of at any time, well, it's amazing. It's like having your own personal cloud of unlimited music!

Unabashed fan of Prince. And for some reason, I remember when being a fan of this dude, admitting so, was some sort of slight against one's character -- in the mid/late-90s. Weird. Maybe it was just because of the turds I hung out with in Jr high. What an amazing artist. One of our best ever.

He was amazing, brother! I think part of the issue was that when he first arrived, he was being billed as the next Jimi Hendrix. People (myself included) were expecting more of a rock sound, and less dance music, so we didn't really give his music as much of a chance as we should've.......but that guitar!!!! His playing on While My Guitar Gently Weeps at whatever award show that was....INFRIGGINCREDIBLE!!
