I was in high school when those guys broke out with that one,,, if you didn't keep an eye on that 8-trac tape it WOULD be stolen at parties.

I do like this one. My fave Doors tune is The Wasp. One thing about The Doors that I don't like is that much of the stuff sounds like Morrison is making up the lyrics as he goes.

But that was one of the things that made Jim so great. He was a poet. Most poets minds run very deep and dark. And really a decent actor, as well. lol. He was made for the spotlight, although he didn't think he was. He was beautiful, and so incredibly talented, and yet he fought it all, yet craved it at the same time. He was his own conundrum. A tragedy in the making. And yes, he could make you think he was making it up on the fly, but they were actually well thought out lyrics from his poetic heart and mind.
