I can't really place Post. He does rap music but also not rap music. Lol

Really loved the movie about the Doors.

I liked this band already but the story behind this album is out of a horror movie. If you get the chance, read the story behind this concept album. Took him 5 years to write this and if you know the story, you will understand why.

If you recall the cult, Synanon, in CA back in the 70's, Mikel Jollett was kidnapped by them and abused as a child. When his real Dad finally got off heroin and out of prison, he came to find him. This should be a movie, it is amazing Mikel survived and could actually write a concept album about his Dad and his experiences. If you have Apple Music, there is an interview with him and a breakdown of every song and the chapter in his life it fits. Wow, there's music and then there's something like this. Listened to this last night for the first time and it took me to another place, one of darkness and eventual light.

If you know this band, they're different and use a lot of different instrumentation including orchestral elements and electronics but this it just the the four of them with a fully mic'd studio.
