Great video from one of the greatest bands ever. Johnny Van Zant has done an good job keeping his brother's music and memory alive, although it's really the music that endures. Have you or @kimrose ever heard or seen this tribute song from Johnny Van Zant to Ronnie? Great tune. And a lot of folks don't know that Johnny Van Zant had a good run himself with .38 special. An underrated band in it's own right, IMO.

Yeah, that's a good song. All the Van Zant brothers were so talented, weren't they? I know Donny was in 38 Special, and was a founding member, but I never heard that Johnny was. 38 Special was a damm good band. :)

Big fan of .38 Special and Southern Rock in general. The 70's and 80's were a great time for music.

And you're right about Donny and .38 Special. I have a pretty long commute to work and I like to listen to biographies and interviews of different bands. I hook up my Bluetooth and search for videos like VH1 Behind the Music. Obviously, I don't watch the videos while I'm driving but it's good listening the programs when you want something different. For some reason, I could have sworn that Johnny Van Zant was mentioned along with .38 Special; I would have bet on it. Thanks for the correction.

I've been digging this track quite a bit and the music video is a pretty fun watch to boot!! If you're a fan of The Weeknd I highly suggest his new album. It's pretty damn good.

Oh, Dodger, I thought you had taught me something I never knew. lol. Ah well. :)

I've been around long enough to know a woman is always right.......

I wish that were true. lol. I have a family that would differ with you though.

Thank you so much for that good laugh, Dodger. I needed it. I just watched Brandon Carr practically escort ODB into the endzone. Whatever happened to that old puke emoticon we used to have? Didn't we used to have one?? Anyway, I need it here. I am SICK at the *())^%$# touchdown the Giants just made, and I needed to get away for a second. And here you are, with a wonderful laugh for me. Thank you for that, my friend. GO COWBOYS, WE STILL GOT THIS!!

Time for the Cowboys to go oldschool and reclaim their idenity and winning ways tonight.

not a big country music fan but my wife is so I do listen some.

I can't post my current favorite song here. Reality wouldn't like that so much.

If you want to know, ask and you shall receive via PM. :)

Living in Austin, get to hear a lot of music

Been digging a band that plays here a lot, Black Pistol Fire. Great live show. I'm a big fan of "blue rock", so if you like bands like Black Keys check them out.

And I can't forget my buddy, one of the hardest working guys toward his craft I've ever met, and finally starting to get the recognition he deserves. He used to play at our small hometown grocery store in front of just passers by.

I follow a few "youtube" guitarists.

This guy usually cracks me up. He is really a good guitarist but always does silly stuff.

Either way...evil black metal turns into Happy Black metal...

Hahaha!
Thanks for posting that. I'm checking out his site. The bad translations one has me rolling.
