Ha. I've bared it all out here, **** it... I've been 51-50'd. Back in 2010 when I thought the LA Sheriff's Dept were Iraqi's coming at me (was heavily under the influence of many illegal substances)

Luckily, they have my info and knew it wasn't as bizarre as it should've seemed to them. They were kind, and easily could've arrested me.

Dierks is rad, Slammed.

Corso, Anthony Bourdain once said that a bland hamburger at an airport restaurant could send him into a 2, 3 day depression. A dark, deep depression. The joy he derived from food effected him so.

For me, it's pretty similar in music. A bad song can really send me reeling, into the dark.

Conversely, for Tony, a great meal and he was on cloud nine, all the weight lifted. He was happy and sprite.

Your MJ/Clapton video is what I needed. It caught me so damned off guard.

I don't blow smoke or harp, I adore that video. It will be shown at parties and gatherings if I'm ever cool again :) In the meantime, I cant stop watching it. The breakup of the moonwalk, making us want more, then BAM. With the "cocaine," juxtaposed to the gnarly moves of MJ.

I'm floored.
I'm extremely busy, at the moment, getting ready for this trip to Canada coming up, but I have more for you.
I used to dabble heavily in mashups and collected many interesting songs along the way. I love that song also.
It's such a refreshing idea to take to classics and put them together in a coherent and enjoyable way.

On your time, brother. You do you, Cors. Thank you so much for all that you share here. You blew my mind yesterday man, and I got a bit hyper.

Corso got me on this kick now haha I also like this song so it counts to be in here. hehehe This is the video that propelled Nonstop to the forefront of dance artists on the interwebz.

Yeah man, and I so appreciate you exchanging with me, tho, my man. I can't hang with hip hop/rap with you, and I appreciate you giving me the time of day, my boi, Bigs.

Anyways... and how the frig did Puffy get out of it? I mean, he was the brains behind all that beef, right? He knew it was money, that east/west beaf. And he remained unscathed. And I don't hate Diddy, just dumbfounded how he is worth 1B while Van Gogh-level artists in 2Pac and Biggie are gone. Puffy isn't anything special in the rap scene, he wont be remembered for his lyrics. Maybe his production? But more as an entrepreneur, no, Bigs?

Not right, bro.

I don't like it. With that said, here is an absolute guilty pleasure of mine:

Oh, I wasn't doing that to school you brotha, and Tupac had it hard too. A voucher to an art school doesn't save him from growing up in the hood and dealt with poverty, but just had more opps/direction was all. Heck, I just found out about that Baltimore thing a few years ago watching some documentary so also changed my perception of him.

Puff was deftly just an entrepreneur from day one/graduate college and think he was just a glorified party promoter before he got into signing rappers and rapping himself in the 90s w Junior Mafia w/Lil Kim and Mace and of course Biggie as the biggest money maker. He was involved in promoting that east/west coast beef along with Suge on the W doing the same to simply promote sales. Puff is just a good businessman who rode Biggie's reputation to promote his brands/label and just kept expanding in that direction with that MTV show and other junk.

Have you had a chance to watch the Tupac film made by HBO, Star?

What is sad is they made a GREAT movie about N.W.A. (Dr. Dre/Ice Cube) but 2Pac can't seem to get himself a good movie. Both attempts failed imo. The last one had potential but the entire movie felt super rushed.
