Merry Christmas,Baby...Elvis...recorded at Nashville Studio B in 1971 for his 2nd christmas LP-Elvis sings The Wonderful World of Christmas.
this stand alone classic is among his greatest recordings...he loved blues...and this is right in the middle of his wheel house.
not in the mood for xmas songs....it was late and they just started jammin'...Elvis came in right in stride and he and his group unwind and let loose on this almost 11min jam...scaled down abit for the album.
it makes fans like me wish it was a blues themed album he was recording.
simply one of his greatest works...ever.
