What's Your Salad Dressing?

Thick medium rare steak, huge baked potato smothered in butter and sour cream and a Bleu Cheese/Roquefort salad on the side......

nothing like it

kind of a salad? slice a large tomato, slice a ball of mozzarella. arrange on a plate season with salt and pepper and then tear some fresh basil leaves and sprinkle on top. lastly drizzle (i love that word) olive oil over it
Insalata Caprese

We do it with Heirloom tomatoes and Buffalo Mozzarella.

As for dressing. I just go with a good balsamic, olive oil, salt, pepper and some red pepper flake. real simple stuff.

Had a 6 ounce filet with crab meat and fondue today for lunch. Probably the best lunch I've ever had.

No salad, though.

And I would be one of those people.

Ranch goes good on so many things.

Pizza, Baked potatoes, Wings, hamburgers, and a million other things.
I agree with this. I would have to say for a salad, I use Ranch dressing and sometimes add a hint of Italian herb to mix in with the Ranch.

For hot wings or burgers, You gotta have the Bleu Cheese though.

Dharma Ranch Optional.

:D

Rasberry vinagarette, thousand island, ranch, ceasar, I usually ask for "house" at nicer restaurants, honey dijon. I really don't eat much salad though.

Y'all need to come out to CA. Tofu Tahini, Spicy Miso ... some version of the two are on most menus (at least in No Cal). Both are very good.

At home, I'm a simple oil and vinegar person -- you gotta have salt and pepper on that though, otherwise it tastes like crap (a bunch of salt).

I am not real fussy I can eat them all and be happy... but if I feel fat I will grab the vinegar and oil...

Kraft used to make a Bacon & Tomato that I really liked.

9 times out of ten it's B Cheese but once in a while i'll go with ranch. I do like Taco John's house dressing on their taco salad.
