It was ok television for a couple of seasons but I'm done with it.

I really like Peaky Blinders, Sense 8, and Marco Polo on Netflix.

Marco polo was awesome. Can't wait until the 2nd season. Netflix has some really good series.

I agree. I think she show is hilarious. It just goes to show you that people have different tastes in humor. There's no right or wrong. It's just that the humor that works for one person may not work for someone else. I remember being surprised when a friend said he thought Seinfeld was dumb and not funny. I thought the show was hysterical.

I agree with this. Modern Family, The Office and other similar shows are more of a dry humor show and not everyone likes them, me included. My tastes are more of the My Wife and kids or Two and a half men (Sheen seasons)types.

What about for those of us who like both kinds??

Anyways, Modern Family and 2 1/2 men are polar opposites but both are awesome! I prefer dry(intellectual) humor but both are welcomed :D

And some like both kinds. FIFY :)

Those two are opposites of each other though. I just can't really get into the dry humor as much. My mom loves those types of shows and can't stand Two and a Half men type shows.

Isn't that a chick flick?

If you see an english captain lashing an irish fighter till there is no back left, hangings, sword fighting conspiracies, raping, pillaging, bribery and other vices a chick flick, then Yea.

Seriously tho, the chick in this show is pretty awesome. Imagine a 20th century woman going back to the 16th century and being told what to do. Imagine the man she is married to and loves in present time meets his great great great great grandfather who is a spitting image of her husband in the 16th century and then tortures her and the guy she marries from that time period.

Watch the first two shows. It is addictive as any other.

Modern Family reminds me of Frasier which I still miss to this day. The dry humor is what makes it. I laugh so hard in Modern Family I end up having to watch it twice because I know I miss something in the diaglogue while laughing. I liked 2 1/2 men but shows like that are just one liners after another. I grow tired of them after a while. Some or better than others.

I have been watching the Girlfriend Experience on one of the cable networks and just realized the lead actress in that show is actually Elvis Presleys grand-daughter. Lisa Maries baby. Hard to believe how time really does fly.

Anyone watch the English comedy Man Down with Greg Davies?

Just watched the first two seasons (might not be any more). Although stupid they still cracked me up. The father on the first season reminded me of Cato from the Pink Panther movies in that he is always doing something. But instead of doing it to better teh person he is doing it to belittle and torture his son.

One of those shows I found on youtube for free.

Game of Thrones
The Americans
The Walking Dead
Mr. Robot
Vikings

My guilty pleasure is Suits, not even sure how I got hooked on it, but the drama is so silly (even though the acting is great) that it makes me laugh. Fun show.
Used to love House of Cards but didn't make it through the last season.

I'll have to check out Black Sails.

Didn't see it listed, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first season of Bloodline. Season 2 was just uploaded to Netflix. Only one episode in but looks to be another good one.

If talking only OTA I'd go:

1. SHEILD
2. Big Bang Theory
3. Hawaii 5-0
4. Supergirl
5. Rush Hour (getting canceled though I am sure)

That's the only shows my Tivo is set to record

If you add cable channels then most of those get bumped out by TWD, Dark Matter, Killjoys and the Expanse. Add in internet shows and Daredevil is kicking someone one out.

1.Game of Thrones
2. Mr.Robot
3.The Walking Dead
4. 12 Monkeys
5. Better Call Saul
HM:
Netflix- Daredevil, JJ, Narcos, House of Cards, Orange
AMC- Into The Badlands, Preacher
FX- Fargo (easily could be top 3 for me) The Strain

Network TV blows.

CBS has moved Supergirl to The CW network for season two (just in case you didn't already know :p ).

This......I just wish I could get my wife to agree, she's so old school and so easily entertained, that she'll still channel surf and starts with the local channels, and rarely gets past them.....I on the other hand only watch local when theres sports, or sometimes I'll watch Simpsons and/or Family Guy.....I was tempted the start Watchin Gotham when it debuted, but ultimately refused. People at work try to get me to watch Empire, never gonna happen.....
