JJ had the benefit of an elite QB.
(and a pretty good roster too)

The Cowboys have never had a QB of that quality since.

I think your underselling the roster a bit, like alot of bit......that team was in general the NFC all pro team with a few 49's mixed in.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Nice to see a few honest Cowboys fans. But some of the responses are just.....WOW! Like some people taking it personal to the point of feeling like their whole life was ruined because of Jerry Jones. Then the fans who can't figure out the topic of the thread and go off on rants about something completely irrelevant. This is where I get jealous of Canadian sports websites where you'll get immediately banished to the phantom zone for getting out of line. Not saying we should go to that extreme, but how about a visit from a Mountie with a cattle prod?
I can safely say that other than here Booger has had 0 effect on my life.

I choose to watch the games on TV with the understanding that this is nothing more than entertainment as well as understanding there are better teams that the Cowboys.

There is another thread about this could be the way it is from here on out and I am OK with that. This "26 years of misery doesn't resonate with me because there have been good seasons within that time period.

An average team wins a Super Bowl every 32 years because there are 32 teams competing. Therefore, if the Cowboys won a single Super Bowl before the 32 years since their last one, then it would just further illustrate their mediocrity.

The Cowboys won a Super Bowl during the 1995 season. The 2027 season would mark 32 years since their last Super Bowl.

2 Super Bowl championships by the end of the 2027 season. 2!

That's what it would take, 2 Super Bowl championships!

For me it would have to be multiple SB wins, preferably back to back. I really despise those clowns

Honestly I do not blame the FO player decisions, I blame the front office coaching decisions. Player acquisitions have been pretty good, unfortunately the coaching and how to use the players has sucked.
