When can we officially worry about Martin?

I'm chalking it up to the team being overly cautious. The normal activities of an offensive lineman put enough stress on the back as it is, I can see why they would limit it until they see how he holds up in the games. If it carries over into missing games, I will be officially concerned.

Never a shortage of worries! Two minutes after hoisting the next Lombardi, there’ll be pacing and handwringing and heavy breathing and lamenting over future catastrophes. Enjoyment is never achieved by a rather large demo...

@Sydla Be careful, there is only so much worry to go around. So you have to save some for Tyron's back, Fredbeard's sickness, Martin's back, Lee's hammy, Jones' hip, Zeke's off-field antics, etc.

Or, you can officially start to worry when Martin is not out there and the back up Su'a Filo or Williams also happens to be playing poorly.

Hopefully, neither will happen. Until then, R-E-L-A-X. Take a deep breath and repeat.
