When did Dallas' fate change this season?

I believe Dallas' fate changed this season when Jay Ratliff blocked the field goal in Kansas City.

Austin would strike on 59 and 60 yard pass plays, and the Cowboys would not look back.

Disagree? ... Agree?

I think the KC game is where this group started to come together as a team.

When Brooking was signed, Stewart and Reed was let go, and Buehler was drafted. The rest was waiting for dinner to cook.

It never changed. They entered the season with the talent and the coaching to go 12-4 and deep into the playoffs.

OT in KC-the defense with a key stop with KC having good field position. This led to the Austin TD.

I agree, I remember someone compalining about the celebration after beating the Chiels saying that it was stpid because it was only the Chiefs, but that game and that win was a total team effort and it was a team building win for them!

The guys stuck together and did what they needed to do to pull out the win. Heading into the bye Wade Phillips went back and made some corrections and I think we are seeing it all pay off.

I think it happened when we were down 10 to KC.

Witten and Brooking were on the sidelines still pumping up the offense and defense respectively.

They kept everyone energized and told them we were still going to win that game.

That normally doesn't happen with Dallas and we normally lose that type of game.

Instead we fight back, force OT, and slam the door on their offense and then our offense hits the big play for the win.

I think there was a moment when we were down 10, but they refused to lose.

I told my wife that day that I think something happened.

Then I wanted to see what we did against Atlanta, .. and when Atl. marched the length of the field in 14 plays or something for the TD I figured I didn't see anything at all in KC.

But as we came back and took it to the Falcons I kept believing that I had seen something happen when we were down 10 in KC.

Since then beating the Falcons was great, taking care of business against the Seahawks was real good, and going on the road against our division nemesis lately and coming away with a win in a hard fought NFC East game is outstanding.

I think they turned the corner and started to believe when they came back from being down 10, on the road in KC.

Feel the same exact way. I think there is a different mindset that has taken place with this team and it should serve them well as we move forward. Dallas will have some highs and lows during the 2nd half of the season but if they stick together and continue to battle as a team they will overcome any obstacles in their way.
