Only because there is a negotiation going on for the new CBA. The owners and the League are trying to show good faith in working with their partners (the players) before making HUGE asks in the new agreement.

Smart for the agents and players to take advantage now.

To me it’s really more that the teams are instantly granting these requests at any sign of disgruntlement. Guys like Fitzpatrick and Ramsey aren’t holdouts, they are still showing up to play on Sunday.The teams seem to be extremely afraid of any kind of potential locker room turbulence.
If all you had to do was put in a trade request through your agent and then you were instantly traded... why wouldn’t you?

Miami wants picks, so I doubt they were too upset they were able to get a first for Fitz.
Even though they just drafted him...

Fitz would still play if Miami couldn't get the pick they wanted.

Tunsil fwiw didn't want to be traded.

Ramsey will still play until they get the right value.

Clowney had an advantage due to not signing his FT, allowing him to have leverage over the Texans.
Texans probably could of kept him had they not gone cheap on the FT designation.

It's just the perfect storm with Ramsey in that he's that vocal diva corner who is also really good.

I'm sure lesser players would like to be moved but nobody cares.
