Free agency starts in March the draft is in May.

Players can sign with their teams any time, but can't talk with other teams until FA starts in March. JJ will likely have his priority FA's signed before they become free. That's the reason the focus was on coaches first, they can talk to other teams starting Thursday.

I don't see any way Murray will be signed before Free Agency, unless he takes a very low amount.

You'd like to sign Dez before free agency, but if you have to franchise him, you have to franchise him.

Yes, all of the good ones are gone in a month, usually less. Guys with injury issues and whatnot can linger around in free agency past the draft, but the guys with no issues are gone before the draft.

Dallas will be able to negotiate with our own FA but NFL Free agent period starts in March
