When do teams form their Practice Squads?

does anybody know what time teams can start making their practice squads, and does anybody know what the time is for players to clear waivers?

There is a 24 hour window for teams to place waiver claims. We should start seeing action around 5:00 central time.

Vaughn McClure, of the Chicago Tribune, reports the Chicago Bears have re-signed free agents QB Brett Basanez, DE Ervin Baldwin, FB Will Taufoou, OG Johan Asiata, CB Woodny Turenne, C Donovan Raiola and DE Joe Clermond to their practice squad.

Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports the Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed free agents C A.Q. Shipley, DT Steve McLendon, RB Justin Vincent, RB Isaac Redman, TE Dezmond Sherrod and WR Tyler Grisham to their practice squad.

These reports are questionable, if only by their timing. The last I heard, the ending time to place a waiver claim was 11 a.m. this morning eastern, so if they're true, they are on CST and moved VERY quickly.
