His ball skills are horrible. I'd rather have a free safety who is capable of tracking a ball in flight.

I wouldnt do it. Newmans great at covering his man one on one. But doesnt seem to read and react as well. His tackling is solid though.

I think the answer at FS next year is a proven FA. Young DB's struggle early while young linemen can step right in and contribute. So IMO we cut Hamlin, sign a FA. And use our first 2 picks on an OL(Anthony Davis) and YAC WR/PR(Golden Tate)
