When does Demarcus Lawrence return?

The defense needs all the help it can get. Defensive end is about more than rushing the passer. You still have to stop the run first, otherwise the other team grinds out almost 200 yards rushing and keeps the ball all day (see 41 minutes of possession).

I'm not expecting him to be a savior, but he's paid to be a leader and the defense sorely needs one. Expecting Parsons and Diggs to carry it is an unfair burden on two young players. The line needs a kick in the backside after that performance. Tank needs to lead that unit.

Anyone who dismisses DLaw is a fool, or just worried about his salary. Coming back from a foot injury i worry a bit about what his conditioning is like, but if we can get 25 snaps out of him for the Thanksgiving game i'd say its a success.

Him, Gallimore, and dare I even say Hill back will be huge for this team.

Thankfully, some of the issues from last year appear to have been resolved despite yesterday's flattening. Lawrence's veteran presence can only help the young players.
