When does Jerruh pull the trigger

I agree with beast from the east.
There would be no point in firing Wade now.
Jerra, for all his faults, has a heart. He will wait until the season is over.
And Jerra is not so dumb that he has already made phone calls to assure HC candidates to hang in there until the season is over.

And I hope Shanny or Cowher is one of them who he has talked to.

He won't be fired till January after the final regular season game. Unless we somehow make the playoffs then it would be sometime right after whatever the last game we lose is.

Unless of course Wade pulled off some sort of miracle and won a Superbowl. Then, and only then, would he save his job.

JJ doesn't have to fire WP! He's in the last year of a 3 year deal!!

Know your Dallas Cowboys! :bang2:

These threads are getting plumb ridiculous... What in hell has Jason Garrett done this year that shows he would be a good head coach? He hasn't even handled the offense well, now folks want him running the whole team? Who is going to coach our D? Someone please make this stuff stop!

Yea... you tell em'.. Sean Peyton sucked too..

Nice attempt at derailing the topic. If you think Garrett deserves to be the head coach, you are silly.

If we lose tonight.. i could see a firing of wade tomorrow. Wade got handed a superbowl caliber team and a loss tonight would make the playoffs unlikely if the giants start winning. Go ahead and make JG the interim head coach for now... in hindsight letting Sean Payton go was the worst move Jerry let happen.

I'm not tryin to derail anything. Peyton wasn't so hot during his time in Dallas. NO took a chance on him and it's paying off.

I'm afraid if we let Garrett go we'll regret it.

As I recollect, Jimmy Johnson did nothing to deserve being the coach of the Cowboys but that turned out nicely for us.

The question is when does he fire HIMSELF - another puppet NFL retread coach will not fix the organizational rot of this team. Until we get a coach in actual charge of the team, able to create a cohesive coaching unit that answers to him and his goals, and not the gloryhounding owner/GM, will you see this team maximize it's ability.

God is the only one who will fire Jerry.

Jimmy Johnson won a national championship with Miami, and rebuilt both the Miami and Oklahoma programs. He had a track record, Garrett does not.

......... but he was an unknown. College coaches usually don't do well at the pro level. However, I'm glad he did!

Well that does make sense. I liked Peyton too! My bad for not asking for clarification!
