When Giants fall

The Giants are suffering through a lot of the things we were suffering through in previous seasons. Eli is experiencing what it feels to have a pretty makeshift offensive line and a complete inability to run the ball.

They can't score consistently enough, and my guess is teams have adopted a 2 man under scheme against the Giants (I haven't seen them play since week 1). Where they are focused on taking Cruz and Nicks out of the game, especially when they can stop the Giants running game with 6 or 7 in the box.

What's worse is the Giants no longer have that stallworth defense they used to have. And they certainly can't stop the run. Without an explosive offense they are being truly exposed.

The way Kansas City is playing, I would suggest that it's likely they start the season 0-4 and given the rest of their schedule, they won't be likely to see the postseason or vie for the division.

After KC they play Philadelphia, who is going to Denver next week after showing they can't stop the pass. It's really possible that if we can beat San Diego, we can put together a comfortable cushion. I could see us having the only win outside of our division going into week 5. I still think we have major gains to be had with the return of Spencer and Ratliff, so I see a lot of upside for our team going beyond week 6.

I would even go as far to say that if we can beat Denver, we'll probably lock up the division pretty early, with the obvious caveat of needed to stay healthy.

I hope your right but things can change quickly especially in the NFC east.

Anything to see less of Cruz's salsa dance. Of course, he did three times against us. At least we prevailed on the scoreboard.

I'm not going to get exited yet. There has been too many times they have come out and completely stunk it up to start the season then as soon the fans start calling for Coughlins head they flip the switch and make a run.

I have a weird feeling that we haven't heart the last of the giants. And I just have a sneaking suspicion that they will beat the Chiefs. It's too early to talk about our division, as we're not even 1/4 of the way through the regular season. We could very easily be 1-2 right now along with them.

Too early in the season to start drawing conclusions. But it is nice the see the Giants and Commanders at 0-3. Couldn't happen to 2 more deserving teams.

I agree but I will also say if they lose to KC, NY will in a world of hurt and things could get ugly in NY. Lets hope so anyways. lol

If they do, that will actually be a pretty impressive win for them. If they were coming home after being destroyed by CAR, I'd consider them pretty dangerous. But they have to go into Arrowhead for a second straight road game against a team that's playing great and whose greatest strength is simply not making mistakes. This is a very tough situation for the Giants.

Did you mean stalwart? Either way I got your point. :D
