had this discussion watching the boyz last weekend. "Man Law" has made an exception on when a grown man may shed a tear. Here are the ones we discussed as being "ok", and not frowned upon:

1. Any replay of a Cowboys SuperBowl WIN
2. NFL Channels playing of the Cowboys Review of their Superbowls
3. any induction of a Cowboys Player into the Hall of Fame
4. replay of the Win at Candlestick, when we went on to our SuperBowl with the JJ's

Any others I missed, that may be added to the "Man Law" exception list?

:D

Certain announcements (e.g., March 31, 1980).

The passing of great men (e.g., February 12, 2000).

I have to admit to choking up when Roger started to choke up himself when talking about the "man in the funny hat".

When my teenage daughter bought me D Ware Jersey for my birthday this year, I shed a tear or so...along in my bathroom.

When the Cheerleaders run onto the field at Texas Stadium and you stop and realize you can't have one of them.

"No!, Danny! No!" -Coach Tom Landry from the sidelines to his QB, Danny White, during a 4th and inches play, after it became clear the drawing the Commanders offsides ploy wouldn't work. The ball was snapped, Cowboys lost yardage, the ball, and the game. December 11,1983

How about watching my son's pee-wee team win their first championship? I shed a few then (as I did the year before when they lost)! I'm a sucker for an emotional sporting moment, what can I say?!
I also shed some while watching each of the Triplets' retirement speeches. It was hard to realize that the glory days of the 90s were done!

Tears for Tom Landry, Mr. 1970s, crying that his firing was not handled correctly.
Of course, when you intentionally become highly mobile you might get fired on a golf course.
I could think of worse places to be fired.

Oh! I know! I know!

Getting to the kegger, with THE Keg, to cheers from your awed fellow students and forgetting the tap and pump.

I have no need to cry...and when I do cry, I won't cry here on this board and make everyone cry about why I'm crying.
